Any nonprofit organization wishing funding for a garden-related project may qualify for a grant from the Bloomington Garden Club by contacting us. All projects must meet the goals of the Bloomington Garden Club.
Bloomington Garden Club is pleased to announce 2024-2025 grant recipients for garden-related projects. Nonprofit organizations receiving 2024-2025 grants include Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington, Community Kitchen, Earth Day Project, Hilltop Nature & Garden Center, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, New Hope for Families, Wildcare, Inc., and Wonderlab.
To qualify for grants, recipients must be a nonprofit, must demonstrate a benefit to the community, and must clearly relate to BGC’s mission, which is to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening, to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds; and encourage civic planting and beautification.
To fund its annual grants, Bloomington Garden Club organizes its annual Summer Garden Walk and Flower Show. An organization may apply for only one grant per year, but may reapply in succeeding years.
