Monroe County History Center

The Monroe County Historical Society was founded in 1905.  It is currently housed in Bloomington’s old Carnegie Library building, now known as the Monroe County History Center at 202 E 6th St, Bloomington. The History Center is dedicated to exploring and presenting the genealogy, history and artifacts of Monroe County, Indiana. It provides an accessible learning environment for all to enjoy.
